I’m trying to think of some games that one could “easily” play while engaging in conversations with others or while listening to podcasts, etc. In other words, the gameplay doesn’t require you to listen to it, do any reading, or really need to do any deep thinking in order for you to be good at it.

I’m thinking of Vampire Survivors, Hades (ignoring the story), probably Diablo IV (although I haven’t played any Diablo since 1998). Solitaire would fit under this category but Minesweeper - at least for me - would not because I have to think about my next move.

Any others?

It depends but for me I usually play some Risk of Rain 2 and Soulstone Survivors (if you like Vampire Survivors, this one is a bit similar).

As of yet I can’t do this. I had a coworker that would blast 2000s rock while playing online with us but that would take me away from the moment.

Stardew valley, I’ve got so many hours in that that I don’t need to fully focus unless I’m fishing
