I have a 2005 Mazda B3000( bought used days ago,)truck that was running a little rough, with the engine running I was looking in the engine bay and noticed the pug wires at the coil didn’t look seated, so while holding the hood up with one hand, I started to push the plug wires down on the coil to see if they were seated, when I got to the forth or fifth wire, wouldn’t you know it, it shocked the Turkey and dressing out of me. I’ve never experienced this before on other vehicles, am I correct to assume they wires are bad? TIA

I am going to check tonight when it’s dark, also use a meter to ohm out the wires, I’ve touched plunge wires before while the engine was running but this has never happened before.
