Have y’all ever seen any of the players out and about? They’re our state celebrities :’). I wonder where they go clubbing; do they go on walks; or are they stuck to hanging out in their own homes because they don’t want to be recognized and deal with fans

    I saw Frank Ntilikina at Whole Foods on Lemmon on Christmas Eve, he was very nice

    Also saw Dwight Powell walking on McKinney south of West Village but didn’t say hi

    Not a player but Jared Dudley was in Men’s Wearhouse getting fitted at the same time as me, was pretty nice and we talked for a bit

    Also met Dennis Smith Jr at Fieldhouse in Grapevine (basketball complex in the mall). I was playing in a men’s league there and he was there watching a friend, super lowkey but friendly dude

    Lastly there was an SMU basketball game I was at 2 years ago (I think hosting Houston?), Clippers were in town for a game and Robert Covington and like half the Mavs roster (Boban, Josh Green, DP and 1-2 others) showed up to watch. Boban was getting mugged outside for photos, was super nice as expected but was trying to get back to his car lol

    This was a while ago but I saw JJ Barea getting groceries out of his Tesla a few blocks from my mom’s house in his full warmup gear. Google mapped it when I got home, half court in the backyard.

    I bumped into Devin Harris in a Vegas hotel once during summer league. we bumped into each other turning the corner quickly apologized and kept it moving took me a second to realize it was Devin.
