We all knew Morris isnt good at basketball before he joined Philly but I didnt expect him to be this bad. Even Embiid & Maxey both have negative net ratings when on the floor with Morris. There are guys like Tobias especially on the roster who Embiid has a much better net rating without this season (and every year in the playoffs) but even with Tobi on the floor Embiids net rating is positive, just not as positive as it is without Tobi. Whereas Embiids net rating is negative with Marcus Morris. Meaning we get outscored when Embiid is on the floor with Marcus Morris but not when Embiid is on the floor with anyone else. There’s no reason to ever be playing Morris. Embiids net rating with Morris is -18.47 & Embiids net rating without Morris is +10.11 btw. Genuinely no reason to ever play him as he has a -20.27 NET Rating next to Maxey and in general as you can see Morris has been a -21.17 in NET Rating for us. Pm on average we get outscored by 20 points when Morris is on the floor.

Should’ve given Terq a chance today and put him on the floor with Embiid rather than playing Marcus Morris.

What you should really be asking is why isn’t Mo Bamba doing anything to try and get into the rotation. He’s a 25yo 7’ player that should be taking a page out of Paul Reed’s book of the Mud.

He went on RTRS to dispel his “complacency” label, but has less minutes played than Danny Green who’s not even on the team anymore.

Mo Bamba is a center which might explain he does not play. I agree that from a talent perspective, he is probably better than Morris. At 7 feet tall, he can get boards and actually shoot pretty well for a big.

Morris started at C against MIN. That’s my point.
