I had only gotten my SD a few days before the OLED was announced so I had already been using me SSD in the LCD SD. Now, I finally got my OLED after returning the old SD for a refund and keeping my 2tb SSD and I’m attempting to use the OLED SD with the 2tb SSD.

The problem I’m running into is that the steam deck logo comes on, screen goes black and it cycles through this over and over again. I’ve done the following to figure out what’s going on.

1. I reinstalled the stock SSD to make sure it wasn’t another hardware issue, since I’d installed the 2tb SSD right out of the box. The old SSD works.
2. I reinstalled the 2TB SSD and made sure it’s installed well, you never know.
3. I attempted to reimage the SSD but when I boot the flash drive to reimage the deck, I get the same Cycle and no reimaging is happening.

I’d really hate to not be able to use my 2TB ssd, I’m outside the return or exchange window. I know nothing’s happened to it. The steam deck recognizes it as a bootable option.

For more info: when trying to reimage the deck, after several logo cycles, the logo stays. I’d left it like that in case it was finally running and it didn’t leave the logo part for close to an hour. It stays frozen on the logo, which is where I’m at while I write this.
