Does anyone else find it weird that the New Guardians of the Globe didn’t simply die in that first bout against Machine Head and his hired goons?

Like Battle Beast hits a few of the squishy ones directly…and, instead of turning into chunky salsa, they were just stunned.

Except for Monster Girl, who got super hurt. So did Black Samson, and I’m not sure how he came back from that.

I mean, I’m glad they survived, but given how lethal everything else is in the show, it seems odd they lived.
