I’m moving to Peru/Columbia for the next 3-5 months, and wanted to ask ya’ll three things:

  1. What gear insurance would you guys recommend when traveling abroad, something that also covers theft for camera, lenses, tripod, filters and laptops.

  2. What are some photography recommendations for that part of the country? Excluding Machu Pichu, Rainbow Mountain, Red River and Huacachina. To better help with photography locations, I’ll be spending most of my time between Arequipa, Cusco, Iquitos in Peru… and Santa Marta in Columbia.

  3. This is my first trip abroad with the main intent being photography. And first time in South America. What are some general tips that are useful to know?
