KL is a shell of himself. If you want to rank the players, it’s PG, Harden, Russ, KL, Powell.

Losing KL would not impact this team much. Trade him for a starting center and picks would be a huge plus. There is only 1 ball.

Capela, Bam, someone at that level. Imagine Zu being a sub like he should be.

I would definitely be wary of giving this version of Kawhi any extension let alone a max.

Since no ome is explaining it in the comments

If we trade Kawhi, our ceiling becomes what paul george can do. PG is great, top 10 when healthy and at the peak of his powers, but Kawhi? Now that man is in the top 5, arguably top 3 in the league when healthy and peaking. If we trade Leanord, we cap our ceiling. Not just that, but people know kawhi wants to be in LA, so non LA teams are not going give us enough back to make it worth it, nor enough assets to go get ourselves another top 10 player.

It’s been a few seasons since KL is in the top 5 of any list. This is like saying Kobe was in the top 5 after his Achilles injury. He is not the same player as he was in Toronto. Not even close.

God you guys are stupid. Trade Ty Lue, TATOW. If you’ve watched ANY Clipper basketball you know Kawhi plays his way into shape. He’ll be good by the December Boston game like last year and be absolutely cooking in the playoffs (opposite of Harden).
