Curious to know if there are any shades in palettes which you never seem to touch! Mine are definitely gold shades, any type of gold or light bronze shades are not my cup of tea and almost every palette I own has some form of a gold! My favorite colors are definitely dark shimmery browns and light shimmery highlight shades, and also a cream toned matte shade!
YES!!! I hate most gold and yellow-bronze shades too! I have tons of then because every other palette has one and rarely use them. Bronzes make me look ill and golds feel very flashy and going out type of makeup. But when I’m going out at night I prefer either a deep smokey in jewel tones or a dark lip. So I never wear true golds and try to avoid them. Same for oranges especially shimmers.
On the other hand I enjoy cool toned golds, shades that are something between gold and silver. I love champagne shimmers, mauve neutrals and cool taupes in both matte and shimmer formulas. I always appreciate a matte cream or a very pigmented black in a palette. And I look for pale pink shimmers because I don’t have many and I really like them on the inner part of my lid.
