2007 Honda Accord EX-L 2.4L 107k miles I took my car to the shop they said the rack and pinion was leaking. The picture they showed was just it being wet. No fluid leaks onto the ground and no level drops after a month of driving. It’s a $1200 fix so I wanna hold off on it for now.

They didn’t want to do a fluid flush because it could make the leak worse but my fluid is old. Dirty brown color. I was thinking of just sucking the fluid out of the reservoir to put new fluid in and doing that a few times. This should be fine compared to a flush, yea?
