I just bought the 512 GB model, but the screen glare, particularly when playing Cyberpunk in my apartment with lots of windows, was bothering me. I will return it and upgraded to the 1 TB version. I wanted to share this experience. While I understand the benefits of a glossy screen, they’re minimal for me. I prefer focusing on the game, not my reflection.

    the drawbacks of the etched dont seem worth it. just move the screen a few degrees so you dont get any reflections? is it really that difficult in your gaming situation ?

    IMO oleds are glossy for a reason. I see the etched glass as undesirable for oled. Fuck i just realized my rog ally is anti reflective and it explains why i cant stand that screen sometimes it has worse viewing angles and generally just feels fuzzy when not looking at it straight on.
