That’s actually a really well worked goal.
Cifuentes absolutely nowhere near the only Aberdeen player for ages, which isn’t a shock and kind of sums up why I think his career at Ibrox won’t last beyond the season. His positioning is genuinely just bad and he has absolutely no defensive instincts at all.
Ryan Jack should be barred from international football or handed his P45. Either or.
If Jack could keep himself fit, he’d be a solid backup for that defensive midfielder role, but he’s 32 in February and just isn’t available often enough. £25k a week in wages can be spent better elsewhere.
We just need a younger, fitter team generally. Not a good look when the starting lineup had five outfield players at or over the age of 30. Would have been six if Jack was fit.
Defence (and probably the midfield) shat the bed twice early doors and we’ve been punished for it the second time. Really poor goal to concede.
