This is so fucking right and many things are like this as well it’s just about perception. CK was 10x stronger 2 patches ago noone batted an eye now everybody crying, vlad was ok item 1 patch ago but now it has 1 armor which really doesn’t mean shit and people start wooho zoo meta like no shit.
Yeah like aura mana regen, aura armour, aura lifesteal, and 18% damage increase aura. But yet because they added 1 more armour only now is it good lol.
People dont recognize items and heroes as good unless they either 1, play it, 2 play against it enough to recognize it, or 3 new patch very very slightly buffs it, bringing attention to it, and now they recognize that the hero/item exists.
yeah with a vlads and drums and blight stone, ~4k gold split across multiple heroes, you can MELT towers no matter your team comp.
it’s really disgusting how lycan/LD can round out a draft, just pick 4 heroes who have zero push and add lycan/LD as your 2 or 3 and suddenly your comp is god tier
