I have a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire that has strange behaving turn signals. Both left and right turn signals work intermittently, at random. The hazard lights are functioning entirely normal.

I’m not sure what’s going on and I’m a novice. Based on what I’ve read online it’s a relay issue but I’m not sure. I really don’t want to go in and take off my airbag/wheel to replace the switch.

I’d appreciate some advice and happy to send pictures/videos of whatever if that may help.
