Look, I get it. We all came into this season with astronomical expectations — for many of us the highest of any season in our lifetime — and everyone’s understandably extremely frustrated. But sometimes you just gotta take your L.
The season has been an absolute disaster from the fourth play on. Everything that could possibly go wrong for us has. The fun thing for you all to do is be miserable and find someone to blame, but sometimes situations and circumstances just suck. It’s not any one person’s fault.
Every last word that comes out of Saleh’s mouth during press conferences isn’t why we’ve been awful. While Hackett has been objectively terrible, we still have to remind ourselves that after 8 got hurt we were left with a QB room made up of fringe NFL QB3s and have a totally depleted O-Line with eight different offensive line combinations and 12 starters to this point in the season — no unit has the kind of depth to sustain that many injuries for an extended period. So yeah Hackett can be A LOT better but what are we really working with here?
If you want to get on anyone it’s Joe Douglas for not entering the season with a serviceable backup behind a 39-year-old QB, but honestly it is what it is bro. MOVE ON.
Turn the page and buckle up because the foundation is still in place to TRY (emphasis on try) to make a run in 2024.

Last year we had no Rogers, a banged up O Line, a younger ZW, and our arguably best player Breece was out with an ACL injury. We were much better on offense last year than we are now with no rogers. Our defense is also better this year so there’s even less pressure on the offense.
The problem is obvious. Rogers friends on and off the field that we brought in to appease a QB who never played for this team and still hasn’t really played for this team.
