I currently have a rocketfish Bluetooth transponder connected to my Realistic SA-2080 receiver powering some Sansui SP-2500’s. I’m wondering if buying a DAC is going to improve audio quality substantially.

A device that does direct streaming would be a better upgrade. Wiim is the go to right now but pretty much anything will be better than Bluetooth.
