I currently have a Linksys EA9500v1 and have been looking to upgrade for a little while now. While looking into mesh networks I found the Linksys Velop pro 6E and the netgear nighthawk 12-stream 6E router as two pretty good options. I’m having trouble deciding if I should switch to a mesh system or not mainly because I have set up most switches in my home as smart switches through Alexa and I don’t want to overwhelm my router with too many devices. I have quite a lot of space that needs to be covered as well and currently my router doesn’t reach parts of the basement which is why I’m considering using a mesh network. I’m open to any suggestions, I just don’t know what my best options are. Thank you for any help!
