What to do when switching from AMD to Nvidia GPU?

Sorry, I’m fairly new to the whole PC building/gaming world and am mainly wanting to make sure I do my switch (6700XT to RTX 3090) the correct way the first time.

I know I need to uninstall the AMD drivers but am unsure how to be absolutely certain they’re gone
a friend suggested using DDU software as a final step, which makes sense, but…
Is there anything else I need to worry about? (and yes I have the proper PSU cables and a GPU support arm so no issues there)
