I am planning to get my partner a steam deck for christmas, but I don’t know the first thing about gaming consoles. Is it worth it to buy the OLED or should I just get the LCD. I see that there’s a little difference in size maybe, is that worth the extra $150??

    Get the OLED, highest storage (1tb) if you are happy with price. But the 512gb is also good! He can always get an sd card to increase storage at a later date.

    Yes it is totally worth the extra money.

    Owning bot: Go for the oled. The screen is worth the extra. Brighter so it’s easier to play outside. More colorfull so it’s a feast to look at it and smoother. Gamers like that.
