My father and I are trying to repair a 2010 Chevy Equinox, there seems to be something wrong with the electrical systems of the vehicle. Alert lights turn on randomly, and the car becomes sluggish, and barely responsive.
The thing is, the first problem we noticed was the radio making a loud crackling/humming sound at all times, and we noticed all the other problems when we unplugged the radio…
The car works basically fine if hte radio is turned on, and the sound is turned up higher, but a multitude of other problems start to appear as soon as the radio is removed.
My father said he basically thinks that “the radio is functioning as the ground, and something is wrong with the grounds”
I have no idea what any of this means, but he told me to ask the internet "where are the grounds in a 2010 chevy equinox)
I know the rules say no “audio” but the audio issues here seem to be a symptom of another problem.
