Hi, I have stumbled upon the weirdest issue I’ve had in a while.
I did a clean Windows install recently and ever since then I can barely hear what’s behind me in games. I can only hear sounds that come from the front or the sides at a decent volume, with frontal sounds being way louder.
The only workaround I have found is unistalling the drivers and using an older version that does not allow me to open the Audio Console, which I need to keep my mic from picking up audio from my PC.
Both audio drivers from Windows and the board manufacturer have the same issue. I can use the console but I can’t hear what’s behind me. On top of that, my bluetooth drivers are being stopped by Windows with an error code 43, but this started happening before reinstalling Windows. I wonder if that could be related in some way.
Any help is much appreciated
