Makes me feel good about the next few weeks about not laying an egg against a bad team

ATL (5-6, won today, still mediocre but have a chance to compete for NFC South) DET (8-3, split series 1-1) MIN (6-5, lost to them with a healthy Cousins) DEN (5-5 and beating the Browns, Russ is looking good) OAK (5-6 but giving KC a run for their money right now) PIT (7-4, beat Bengals today)

Slightly below average but an upward trajectory. Glad to see we’ve gotten better as the years gone along. Teams promising and already has a lot of talent.

First half of the season we were also plagued by 1 good half and 1 bad half. The last 3 games have felt more like complete, 4 solid quarters of football. Execution is getting better, play calls are looking better, and the team belief appears to be growing.

The reality is that there’s so much parody in the NFL that all of these teams are super mediocre and the Packers have been too. So mediocre teams playing mediocre team have close games. The Packers winning the last two feels as much like positive regression as much as anything else.

I know we are all excited, and I am included in that group, but the Packers looked very bad on offense in basically every game they lost, minus the Falcons and Steelers. I don’t think the quality of the opponents had much to do with it…

I like that even in the losses, the boys fought until the end. There haven’t been any games where we simply laid down and died. No more of those random 38-3, 38-10, 37-8 losses.
