West Coast fan here. Been a fan since the Rex Ryan era. This is going to seem a little out of left field, and I dont know if it even warrants a post, but just typing this out as i lie awake at 3am unable to sleep.

I’ve always loved the scrappy underdog, and my life has taken some real challenging turns this year that have me more in touch with that than ever, especially considering the start of our season. Going through a separation and what seems to be an imminent divorce at this time. It hasnt been pretty and has taken a huge toll on my psyche.

Anyways, literally the 1 positive thing I had going for me coming into the football season was us being legitimate contenders with AR at the helm. Week 1 had me extremely depressed despite the win as on top of my personal life, it felt like i had nothing positive to root for and we were in for another 2022 Jets performance this season.

Well its been a rollercoaster ride and our team has shown no quit and a hell of a lot of grit. We’ll see how the season goes, but the never say die attitude this roster has shown under Saleh and some of the surprising positive performances this season for our team remind me to keep fighting the good fight and I am just enjoying the journey every week. Going through the highs and lows with such an incredible fan base is a blessing, and there isnt a group of fans I’d rather celebrate/commiserate with. I felt like this sounded much better and more relevant in my head at this point, but I love all you crazy people, and lets go get this W today and start our road to the postseason. Met Life belongs to the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
