This just started happening. I don’t want my ATV remote to turn my tv on and off and it’s been changing inputs to the Apple TV as well if I hit a button. Idk if it was an update or what.

You turn off CEC on your TV but you will lose the ability for any remote to change your TV volume, input, or any other aspect.
Alternatively just put your ATV remote away when not using it?
