I know it’s not gonna fix all of our defensive problems, but I feel like most teams have their DC in booth rather than on the sideline like Glenn always is. Maybe that different perspective could give us a little bit better play calling 😅
I don’t think play calling is the issue, I think the biggest issues have been scheme based going into the games.
I imagine an ex-player coach, with his level of passion needs to be on the field to feel the flow of the game and the energy.
It feels like teams have dissected his scheme over tape and found how to exploit its weaknesses. I imagine it’s constant chess moves from week to week to predict and adjust schemes.
But overall the biggest issue is the lack of any pass rush, outside of one threat that you can double/triple team and make a non factor
