After playing Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and the native Linux version of CSGO (now CS2), and other games, my screen goes black at a certain point (more accurately the signal is cut to the monitor), and I can still hear the fans still spinning. SSH’ing into my system and using the reboot command does nothing, I am forced to do a hard shutdown via pressing the power button physically on my PC. So why is this so, is it a bad gpu (I did buy it used), I didn’t have this issue while playing Far Cry 2 though?

My system is:

OS: Arch Linux

DE: KDE Plasma

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: AMD Radeon RX580 8 GB

RAM: 8GB x 2

I also did install the opensource AMD video drivers.
