Right now we are 1 game out of the 1 seed and 1 game out of the 8 seed. We play 2 of the 3 worst teams in the league next and get to play the bengals again. Even tho we are in no way one of the best teams in the afc, do you think we have a shot at the 1 seed?
It would be hilarious if we ended up with the 1 seed.
Even a home playoff game in the WC round would be pretty funny.
Especially if we could get an ugly win against a good team in the dance.
I think Steelers have a shot at the 1 seed, mostly due to strength of schedule. If the Seahawks continue to fade, the Steelers would only not be favored in the Ravens game, which is very winnable given Lamar’s history.
I don’t think so, but I think there is a real, real good chance that there are three teams that are going to go into Jan 7th with 10-6 records.
We have 3 relative gimmes in the next 4 weeks with AZ, NE, and Cincy again. There is the match up with Indy that really could go either way because their D has been balling out and they are running the ball well, and you can never discount Seattle, as much as you may want to especially if they are smelling playoffs and they are at home.
Baltimore on the other hand…well after the bye next week they have the Rams (that they should win) but then they have a gauntlet…@ Jax, @ San Fran, and Miami.
And Cleveland is set up with a nice schedule also with the only real road bumps for them being Jax and Houston. Because they got the Rams, Bears, Jets, and Bengals.
Which makes the Pittsburgh-Baltimore most likely a seeding game for Wild Card Weekend.
The emotional highs and lows on this sub from week to week are insane. Just last week the sky was falling now we’re talking about the 1 seed. My advice would be to focus on winning the next game and everything will work itself out.
