I just feel knowing how precarious Ammendola is, should DeMeco have kept Stroud and company on the field to at least get closer?
In hindsight, Ammendola was super close to making it but going into the kick, he had already missed a FG and his career long was nowhere near 58 yards.
I feel like I’d take my chances with Stroud who has already proven to be clutch. We still had 30 seconds which probably gives enough time for 3 passes
I definitely prefer trusting Stroud to convert a must get 4th down over Ammendola trying to kick a 58 yard fg. It was a damn good effort by him on the kick but i knew it was over the second they trotted out the FG unit. You had to get closer there
Kinda sucks they did… but they moved them back 2 yards or something.
Tunsil has had a terrible year this year. I thought actually getting him a decent QB to protect would up his play but I guess it doesn’t. He has to be having serious knee issues he’s trying to playing through.
Gone for it
Ammendola had zero chance to make that FG. He already whiffed a 50 yarder earlier and his career high in his entire life was 56 yards in high school. The fact that he got so close to it was crazy
