    I expected to be 6-6 or 5-7 when we were 3-5. We’re 5-7 . 4 very winnable games. The 7th seed is up for grabs. You win the next 2 at home and you’re right there again. If crosby is dealing with something big though, shut it down and let’s just tank for a top 8 pick. We can’t just risk it our players.

    I’m not sure if AP is a good HC or not, but the players have been ready for every game (no lackadaisical starts), and, with the exception of Marcus Peters, have competed until the end.

    I can’t believe I’m being the optimist here…

    McZieg fucked this team up. Our first round pick is a fucking bust (at the very least this year). Our QB situation is fucked, AOC is not that mutherfucker (but the team still believes in him), and apparently we still have McDickFuck’s mid af playbook. WITH ALL THAT SAID, AP is one of three interim HCs to win his first 2 games. We were competitive with probably 2 of the best teams in the NFL. I’m not upset we lost. I believe in this FO to draft properly (I got nothing to back this up, it’s just a feeling). Does it suck losing to the Chiefs? Sure. At least they weren’t dancing on us like The Raiders under McCockSuck.

    People who cry the second anything goes wrong are gonna be around no matter what. And we have an extremely outside shot at the WC so people are gonna get their hopes up.

    That being said, there are some criticisms that are fair to call out even as early as we are in the AP era (for however long that last)

    Namely the end of the first half clock management and offensive play calling were both very questionable yesterday.

    I’m optimistic myself but what’s with everyone on this thread acting like aside from one short flurry from us in the start of the first half, we didn’t take a beating from the start of the second half onward.

    Yes, we were not expected to win, I’ll grant you every justification you have. But sorry, having 30 points dropped on us nearly unanswered is not a fucking moral victory for me.
