Furious George now leads the team in sacks with 8, just ahead of Jones at 7.5, followed by Danna at 5.5. He is 16th in the league and 10th in the AFC. He is 1.5 sacks out of the top 10.
And yet, I cannot think of him being discussed much during games or game highlights.
Last season he finished with 6 sacks, and so he has already eclipsed last year’s totals, on pace to finish with 12.5+ sacks. That would have put him top 10 in the league and top 5 AFC in 2022.
I think it’s time Karlaftis gets his due.
I remember before the season started seeing that Karlaftis had an O/U of 4.5 sacks. If gambling was legal in Missouri I would’ve bet an unhealthy amount on over, I have been a Furious George BELIVER and he has definitely proven himself now
