Yesterday, I switched out my SATA nvme for a Samsung 990 pro m.2. I used Macrium to clone everything on my original ssd including the OS to the new one using an enclosure, then swapped them out. Using the new ssd as a boot drive seemed to work fine, but today I’ve been having numerous issues including but not limited to:
Audio glitches Inability to install things to the ssd via programs such as my gpu driver software Random crashes Inability to launch steam games such as destiny 2 Stuttering when launching other programs Blue screen when attempting to restart the pc, almost like a timeout error.
I have absolutely no idea what to do at this point beyond just installing windows from scratch via a flash drive and wiping the ssd. If anyone could provide any tips it’d be greatly appreciated.
Motherboard- MSI b450 tomahawk (I know my ssd isn’t working at its utmost potential as it’s designed for gen 4 motherboards but it still should be compatible)
GPU- Amd 5700xt
Cpu- amd 3700 8 core
16gb ram, annnnd that’s abt it. If I left any crucial info out please let me know. Thank you!
