Reposting one more time to try to get some eyes on this issue, I’m really at a loss for what to do here.
As title says, I’m having a reoccurring issue with my Windows 11 desktop where, regardless of what I’m doing, everything slows down. I can move the mouse, but everything takes half a minute, sometimes minutes to respond to me. This has happened while playing multiple different games as well as while watching youtube, but never, as far as I can tell, when I’m not doing anything.
What’s weirder is that when I do stuff in windows it seems to freak out, the task manager and windows menu buttons get all garbled, with their icons and text being swapped and mixed up.
Opening task manager shows nothing out of the ordinary. I’ve tried restarting explorer, I’ve noticed steam usually seems to look like it’s crashing but I’ve tried force closing the webhelper as well as the steam app itself to no avail. Core temp shows nothing weird as well, just about 36C which is pretty normal for this rig in this room, if not a little low.
