Yesterday there were a lot of negative posts and comments about the team, with a sprinkle of how great Scottie (+ Dick) were? Two games in a row. Playing Nick Nurse was for sure going to be a challenge. I think there is where the vibes get checked.
Why did all of a sudden did majority of this sub give up?
We’ll be back.
In general I think there’s a lot to be excited about. Loss against Chicago was fucking stupid. Loss against the Sixers sucks. We didn’t have OG for 1.5 of those and he’s been our second best player so far.
We look better than I thought we would. A lot of rust and adjusting to a new system. We’ll be fine it’s literally the first week of the season. We have the same record as like 1/3 of the league right now.
We kept up with both of them. We didn’t get blown out.
We made shitty mistakes in the first game. We had the victory.
We had great shooting but bad defensive decisions in the 2nd half. We still kept up.
If people really jump to conclusions about the vibes being done on game 3, despite having a rookie coach with a drastically different approach compared to Nurse and being competitive, then you might as well give up on this team and come back next era.
There are different groups of people who follow this sub and for years now there has always been a large group that loves to come in after losses and start the doom/negativity train It’s less the sub giving up and more just different people interacting on the sub based on the game results.
Bruh we lost a back to back after an extremely emotional OT game the night before. Both losses have been tight games too so we could easily be sitting here 2-1 or even 3-0.
We have clearly looked better this year, and it’s sad seeing the doomers come out the second we don’t look perfect. We aren’t winning 60 games this year and everyone knows that. There will be losses but no point in giving up 3 games in
The vibes in this sub? They were never going to be great. We all knew that after a loss we’ll see those that hate the FO and the team construction pour out and lose their minds.
As for the team? Seems like everyone continued to play hard last night and Darko has a good hold on the emotions in the room. Doesn’t seem like the vibes are lost.
We just lost to a team projected to be top 4 in the East when we were missing our all-NBA defender. We were also coming off a back to back after losing a heart breaker in OT. The fact that we kept it as close as we did is a good sign.
