Basically the title.
For me, it’s Lords of the Fallen (2014). It had amazing graphics but my god the story and the mechanics sucked.
Halo 5 And infinite They abandon Cortanas death (which meant something to people) with no explanation if you don’t read the books. They then made her evil. They didnt even finish the story they just cut to a villain they stole from halo wars 2 before killing that guy off before you even get control of the MC off screen
Don’t scream is a neat idea, until you get to the end where it’s just jump scare compilation
Every EA game after 2010
Starfield. Probably.
The Order 1886. Pretty impressive graphics for that generation but it was extremely disappointing otherwise. Short, lacked a clear resolution to the story, and just generally a very limited game.
lords of the fallen, i was disappointed with it. i like souls like even though i suck at them, but this one just felt a bit off. i don’t know if it was the animations, but it just felt “stiff” or so.
I’ll probably get some hate for this but for me it’s Ghost of Tsushima. The graphics and setting are beautiful and blew me away, but the gameplay is just stale and boring.
It plays like a bad assassin’s creed game and tries to make the boss fights feel souls-esque (and fails). The gameplay loop and story just weren’t interesting enough to me, but my god the graphics were incredible.
Soul games are all about combat not story.
yeah but it has graphics+combat. listing out games that is just graphics that’s going for it lmao
Genshin. Not even close.
Really? I think Genshin has an amazing story. I am heavily invested in the lore.
Lore is pretty nice. But the main quest story for me? Unfortunately not so much as a certain quest just tainted the experience for me and never recover. Won’t talk about it for the sake of mental health sorry
This is hogwarts, that game is gorgeous but it’s all its got
