C-MDPS not working after dealer replaced worm shaft bearing?

2019 Elantra. Dealer fixed my ‘whirring’ steering wheel noise by replacing the worm shaft bearing per the linked TSB. Now my steering is very stiff and it’s hesitant to return back to straight if I ease my grip after/during a turn. Thoughts?
