I was born in 2000, so I think like a lot of us I was spoiled for a LONG time with how good the Patriots were. These past couple years have been a wake up call for me. But I think I’m starting to realize how rooting for this level of team can actually be fun at times. Like 8 days ago, there was huge doom and gloom around this franchise, and now I’m like….playoff push? If we win today, our next four games are all very winnable. We’d be 7-5 just saying ;). (Yes I know I’m horribly deludeded). Is this what other teams fans have felt their entire lives? Idk why but that makes me laugh and realize how much I love this team and sport
Fan since the early 80s. I lived through 2-14 and 1-15 seasons and still watched every game that was on TV. They were so bad back then, and had such poor fan support that the games were frequently blacked out on TV, because the games were usually not sold out.
