I want to know how this was not ruled a fumble on the field in OT. I saw a very similar one in the night game and they called it as such. That absolutely stings not ending the game there.

The guy upstairs was mentioning requiring a third step BUT that is only one thing refs can look for to establish a catch.

    I would have been FURIOUS if the roles were reversed and they called that a fumble, so I can’t be too mad about it.

    There’s no hesitation on the receiver’s part, he’s tucking and turning up field. Why the ‘referee in the booth’ was mentioning a third foot… that’s not in the rules (that I’m aware of).

    I do think it was an incomplete pass. What pissed me off was that we had to call a TO to get the booth to initiate a review of a call so borderline that they initially called it a fumble on the field.
