I’m coming to town for my first game in the Garden on December 17th. Are ticket prices pretty much as good as they will get now, or would I be better off waiting for a few days before the game to score the cheapest seats?
Note: Not looking to buy tickets here, just looking for advice on timing.

I’ve never used Gametime, but I’ve had no issues bringing it down to the wire w StubHub/Ace Ticket. Plus, Ace has a satellite office right near North Station.
Just an anecdote: I once bought tickets right before gametime from StubHub. The tickets ended up being fraudulent, but it took StubHub maybe two minutes to replace my tickets with slight upgrades.
