Anyone had this happen to them?

Absolutely gutted. I sold my 512 GB looking forward to this. 4 Days from ordering to it getting to shipping and then took nearly 11 days from Netherlands to the UK.

Opened it up and I instantly see it’s not the OLED since there is no orange power button and the sleeve said VALVE STEAMDECK 64GB.

Contacted support but jesus how do they get this wrong. They legit have one hardware product.

    Rip but things happen. Valve will sort you out. Maybe ask for the 1tb model as apology 😎

    I’m sorry this happened to you u/komsomol. It is rather shocking and your feelings of confusion, annoyance and even slight anger are entirely valid here.

    Hopefully Valve can resolve this quickly one way or another, hopefully there wasn’t a specific date you needed it by that their mistake have cost you. One day in the future, when you’re playing on your device and having good time, you can look back on this event and laugh at it.

    I’m particularly sorry for the lack of empathy this community is showing you. But I hope you understand that their little downvotes and outrage means nothing and it’s all just silly worthless internet points at the end of the day

    Valve Index and multiple SKUs for Deck, it’s fucked for sure though, but I get it.
