Still feeling the afterglow of that missed Ryland kick today. Our odds of a top 3 pick have skyrocketed.
That said, it’s hard to believe this team beat the Bills a little over a month ago. Mac is clearly broken and it’s sad to see. I think he is clearly better than what he’s shown the last few weeks but at this point I think you have to start Zappe. At this point I dont even think there is that real of a dropoff between Zappe and Jones.
Saw the post “the case for not drafting a Quarterback.” All I ask is, why are y’all so attached to a mediocre Quarterback at best who’s playing like the worst starter in the league? What has he done to earn such a rabid stanbase?
Why is Mac still starting games?
That’s an honest question, btw. Is there something going on behind the scenes we aren’t seeing because any other QB would have had a fork stuck in him for good like 3 weeks ago.
And I’m sorry to all the “we don’t have a better option” guys out there, that’s not the point. We also don’t have a worse option. They all suck. Why aren’t we letting someone else suck, though?
If Mac is allowed to continue this shit with no consequences how will he ever learn?

Yeah I mean Zappe came in and immediately led us on a touchdown drive. yes he was aided by good field position and a couple lucky plays but the point stands. The team felt like they were playing harder after that point even though it didnt matter in the end. I think if you are BB you go with him next week. If he throws 2 picks and stinks you go back to Jones but it would be stupid to just leave Jones as the starter.
