On my old setup I had the Netgear nighthawk wifi router wired into xfinity modem, the nighthawk would give me wifi and also feed my home Ethernet network switch. Now I have everything wired or wirelessly connected to the ATT fiber gateway and I’m worried this will slow things down. Will it help if I move my old Nighthawk router and connect to the new ATT gateway? Wouldn’t it be the same amount of devices on my network if I’m only moving them off the gateway to the nighthawk feeding off the same gateway?
