I overeacted last week and made a post about how trash KP was but after this week I saw he does have potential he’s far from the QB we need and he’s got a way to go but I think this team will make a QB of him yet go Stillers

You don’t have to apologize for random internet shit takes. Nobody took you seriously then, and no one takes you seriously now.

I was someone who had a similar post last week, saying he and Canada both were the problem. I always thought Canada was more so, but Kenny missed open receivers and struggled with accuracy, and sometimes horrendously, where any starting caliber QB shouldn’t miss. I will say yesterday he did look sharper, and I’ve cooled off a bit, but I’m not “ready to apologize”. Kenny still seems a bit timid in the pocket, he has to quit doing his reverse spin out or whatever you’d like to call it, and again he is still missing open receivers somewhat. Kenny has physical talent to be the guy, but I’m worried the years of Canada and poor OLine play have caused him some mental issues, which in sports can be hard to overcome. So was I wrong about Kenny? Maybe. I absolutely hope I was wrong and he can be the guy. There’s a long way to go both this season and Kenny’s career. We’re all Steelers fans at the end of the day and want what’s best for the team. Hopefully that IS Kenny playing well.

jesus christ. this fanbase is cracked.
how many more of these ridiculous i’m sorry pickett posts do we need?
yinz are acting like he walked on water, parted the red sea and put putin in the ground. he had a somewhat better game than he normally does.
he still showed problems reading the defense he was playing against.
he still showed he was skittish.
he still showed he had trouble past his hot read.
he still showed he had issues executing.
let’s all calm the hell down and be realistic shall we? he has a long way to go. the boy hasnt even thrown 10 touchdowns in 11 games. yeah canada is awful and yeah mason cole is absolute dogshit. kenny pickett has no rhythm with diontae johnson whatsoever. his accuracy at times is suspect. his decision making is suspect.
his best quality is that he hasnt turned the ball over because he hasnt taken any big chances.

I have a feeling Kenny will perform well until the end of the season into the playoffs just like last year

At least I’m consistently saying he’s trash and still will. Need to see much more.

Kenny’s touchdown production is still the lowest ever recorded in NFL history by a quarterback with over 500 attempts. Is some of that Matt Canada? Absolutely. Is all of it Matt Canada? Absolutely not.

I’d wait for some consistent scoring from him before apologizing.

I saw an average game against the 2nd worst defense in the NFL. I’ll be happy when I see him play good on a consistent basis.

He’s still trash. 13 TDs and 13 INTs in 23 games. Like I’m happy he had his most yards ever against the Bengals crappy D. But changes nothing for me. The fan base will flip right back again next loss.
