I already know how this happened so don’t worry about that.

I just need some help with making a decision, because looking at it, just the flexible pipe has a tear in it, the rest of my entire exhaust pipe front to back is perfectly fine n d pretty much brand new (done in like March). I wanted to change out the flex pipe and put a brand new one in, but my family is working against me telling me I need an entirely new exhaust pipe. First of all the entire exhaust pipe is still pretty much new, it’s in perfect condition and works fine, it’s just that the flex pipe broke after some mechanical work because of how much weight and pressure was put in it, so no it’s not a technical defect it’s just the type of badluck of fixing something else but you accidentally break something else again.

What do you guys think? I figure I’m fine with a new flex pipe, my car friends and bf also say the same, just my family keeps bugging me about it.
