I am on Debian, I have tried several games (Civ 6, RuneLite, Crusader Kings 3), and none of them are able to find my dedicated GPU and when I try to select a GPU, there is nothing in the list. I have followed several guides, adding non-free software repos, running nvidia-detect, and the GPU is found and the driver is installed, the following is the output for nvidia-detect:

Detected NVIDIA GPUs:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GA102 [GeForce
RTX 3080 Ti] [10de:2208] (rev a1)

Checking card:  NVIDIA Corporation GA102 [GeForce RTX 3080 Ti] (rev a1)
Uh oh. Failed to identify your Debian suite

I have the following output when I try to install the nvidia driver again:

nvidia-driver is already at the latest version 525.147.05-1

I am not sure what else to try, the only posts I found about this were from 2011 and 2016, my theory is that everything is seeing just my IGPU but I am not sure how to make my dedicated one the main/only card. All my DP cables are plugged into the GPU, I ensured that wasn’t the issue.

    Not sure, but maybe these flags might help:

    PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json
