This guy can be of good Use next to Chet for the next upcoming draft. I love the way he plays and the toughness he brings. 5 star recruit Kel’el Ware. What do you guys think. I’m not saying with the first pick but maybe with one of the picks they have.
He looks pretty solid.
Doesn’t look like someone we would draft. He was supposed to be in last year’s draft but reclassified and I was not impressed by him at all.
This class is very weak unfortunately.
Alex Sarr is the top big in this draft and definitely a Presti type of player. Gives me Mobley vibes. If we can’t get him (which is very likely we won’t) - Kyle Filipowski is the other big I’d be interested in to provide some size and shooting as a backup big.
Other wings I’m interested in are Stephon Castle (Cade-esque with worse physical tools), Nikola Topic (SGA-type of playstyle but not as long, strong or tenacious defensively) and Ja’Kobe Walter (Devin Booker-y playstyle).
Ron Holland would fill some holes as an Ausar type player, but seems he’s gonna be out of our range and not sure if the shooting will come. Buzelis is the other interesting G-League player but I think he lacks some physicality and toughness and kinda falls into the long finesse type of wings that we have a lot of already.
All this to say, I’m not that interested in Kel’el - but there is a lot of time for people to improve (and detract) their draft stock
