The reality is the league is only a little more offensively friendly. Scoring is down this year from that last few years. In 2000, 12 teams averaged less than 20 ppg offensively. This year, it’s 11. If you look at pretty much all of the other team offensive statistics, there are slight increases relative to 2000, but not nearly as much as you’d think.

Having said that, our D is awesome.
