Bills-Eagles games got me thinking; always hearing mixed feelings on Sanders. What is the overall confidence level from fans this season?
2023 kicking Stats:
11/14 FG - 9/10 from <50yds
42/43 XP (miss was in week 1 @LAC)
75 pts from a possible 85pts overall
If a scenario would help to visualise it better, how confident are you for Jason Sanders to convert a 45yrd last second attempt to tie a game?
a 45 yarder I’m confident. 50 or over I’m unsure to doubtful
If it’s under ~43 I think he’s fine and that distance can change based on weather/wind.
Come on man!!! Your post just gave me 1995 Pete Stoyanovich vibes
The guys a career ~80% kicker. I think being neutral is as much as he can ask for with his history.
IMO he’s at a point in his career where he’s a missed clutch kick away from being replaced. Probably not immediately, in the off season.
