I am lucky enough to be able to afford a steam deck and after selling my 512 LCD to my brother also a proud new owner of a 1 TB OLED steam deck.

But my question to reddit is am I the only one who kind of stresses and get a hint of anxiety that I have this amazing piece of technology and I use it to play…… farming games….😅?

I know that may sound weird but I am not a PC gamer I have never had one and I am 29. I fell in love with handhelds and found Nintendo was able to fulfill that need when I was younger. But when the steam deck came out and I watched people review and show off what it could open up for people who didn’t have a pc I was SOLD.

But now when I a have finally learned how to mod stardew valley on the steam deck a question/thought came to me. Can I be doing more/should I be doing more with the steam deck? I know many people will say no play what you want but I wanted to propose the question to everyone.

Do you ever think about how you are using the steam deck and if you should be using someway different?

Apologies in advance if this makes no sense, but I wanted to ask others and this community is so enjoyable to interact and watch I wanted to try it for myself for once.

I use the deck as an indie and cozy game machine. My ally for more demanding games and my switch for first party nintendo games. To each their own.
