(Long read but a good one )I know nobody wanna hear this after last year but just hear me out lol … 8-8 is definitely not bad considering the scheduling … I’m pretty sure we only played 2 teams (wizards and hornets) that’s not in the playoff race , everybody else is basically a T6 seed right now . Snyder teams usually start slow his two best years in Utah they started 7-8(finished with 51) , the other year started 7-11 (48 wins) … a totally new offense and defensive scheme is gonna take time … we’re not playing like a 500 team , we have 2 lineups that’s T10 in net rating (10 games played) so far … that’s elite man the wins just haven’t followed yet , not to mention Trae was an imposter for 10 or so games . The wins will come around December, January, im willing to bet on this barring anything ridiculous. Just stay strong fellas lol, I still have us winning 47+
We need to figure out the defense if we want any shot at top 6 though. Trade for a guy like Caruso, delon, vando, etc.
As much as I would love to trade for Caruso, I do think we can become significantly better on defence with time. Right now most of our on ball defenders aren’t terrible, we are just getting raked when it comes to switches. Get those under control and we can have a mid defence along with a top offence.
