    We might need Purdy to use his legs like he did vs Cincinatti when they dominated our O-Line with just 3 rushers.

    i’m sure this game was mentioned a lot before the NFC title game earlier this year but this game was from november 2019 when oklahoma beat iowa st 42-41

    the two QB that day were purdy and hurts

    stats for both QB that game :

    purdy - 19/30 282 yards 5 td/0 int …15 carries 55 yards 1 td

    I remember I watched this video back in 2021 when we were scouting top qbs in the draft and thought he reminded me of Jimmy g alot lol

    I feel like there’s a critical piece of context missing from all college Brock analysis: Iowa State’s offensive coordinator was REALLY. REALLY. BAD.

    Until last year when he was fired, it became apparent that Tom Manning only ran 12 or less plays, and the offense would consistently sputter because the defense would see them coming.

    Doesn’t excuse all the lowlights, but hopefully that contextualizes the perception on behalf of Brock that he “has to do SOMETHING” to keep the offense going.

    Oh yeah! Also our Oline coach was REALLY. REALLY. BAD.
